Mark Linford, M.M. (Masters in Music) has acquired an enormous amount of playing experience from years of performing virtually all styles of music as a solo artist as well as working with an incredibly wide range of bands, artists and recording situations.
Mr. Linford received his undergraduate degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. And he received his Master's Degree from University of Redlands School of Music in California.
Mark has taught guitar for over 40 years at the college/university level as well as other institutions and privately teaching beginners all the way to advanced professionals.
And with these decades of playing for audiences and so much education under his belt, Mr. Linford is able to easily combine this real life playing experience, education and priceless insight into teaching guitar with a masterfully unique approach. By combining his unparalleled performing experience and broad musical talent along with traditional teaching practices, Mark is skillfully able to keep each student's musical journey very fun as well as extremely educational.
